How do I/we join?

Firstly, have you read the “About TWFS” pages in this web site (see the menu bar above), especially the “Welcome” and “Tell me lots more” pages, so that you understand (a) what TWFS can offer - and what it can’t, at present anyway, and (b) what we ask of you, "Members’ responsibilities"?

You may, of course, have more questions. In that case, please email us. We'll do our best to answer quickly and fully.

You can pick up an application form from the Wells Film Centre, but you can also view and print one here.

Complete it and despatch with a cheque for the correct subscription (please note that this changes as the year progresses, so check before you write the cheque), and SAE, please. The postal address is on the form itself.

Before posting it to us, however, why don't you write on the back of the form your preferred films (up to 10, say), directors, actors, genres, countries, ...?

Within 5 - 10 days (usually it’s quicker, but sometimes it’s slower) we shall send to you:

A letter welcoming you, and telling you of latest news and offers.
Your membership card(s).
A copy of the TWFS Constitution.

If the next film is close, we shall try to be quick enough for you to see it, even if you have to pick up your cards at the cinema. If in panic, email us.
