What it costs |
An Annual Membership SubscriptionWhile not being expensive for anyone, subscriptions are designed on a group basis, making it a little more economical for couples, and much more for those who already face the burden of bringing up a family, Victorian-sized or not. This takes into account that our administration is simpler [I know because I do it! Ed.], as we communicate with just one person in the group, not with each individual member (though each member enjoys full individual rights, having his own membership card, etc.). We also hope that this will also encourage the young to explore and wonder at the best films of the past, so many and so various that this oldie is astonished. It's like comparing fast-food chains (a need though they may fulfil) with Michelin 3* and upward. Subscription rates for 2008-9
Note, however, that those who wish to join in August, the last month of our TWFS year, can enjoy complimentary membership for that month, provided that they join there and then for the next TWFS year. An admission chargePer member, to see the film. In 2008-9 this is expected to be around £5.50 each, less than the cinema's normal adult price. Members may buy tickets for non-TWFS guests, but we charge the full cinema rate. |
